A total of up to 130% will be added to the base Points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Points calculation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 16px; height: 16px;\" alt=\"icon_pfeil\" src=\"https:\/\/www.austrianopen.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/icon_pfeil.png\"> A WDSF World Open New Series Competition in Standard and Latin will be organized. The base points are the highest possible after the Grand Slam competitions (1st place = 320 base points).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 16px; height: 16px;\" alt=\"icon_pfeil\" src=\"https:\/\/www.austrianopen.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/icon_pfeil.png\"> 10 adjudicators from 10 WDSF member countries will judge in Vienna-Schwechat. This follows the current rules for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worlddancesport.org\/Document\/434643507611\/WDSF_Sports_Bulletin_6-19_-_Conditions_for_the_Granting_of_World_Open.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">WDSF World Open New Series competitions<\/span><\/a>. Therefore 30% is added to the base Points.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 16px; height: 16px;\" alt=\"icon_pfeil\" src=\"https:\/\/www.austrianopen.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/icon_pfeil.png\"> As this year again up to 96 couples will start in Vienna-Schwechat, another 25% will be added to the base points.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 16px; height: 16px;\" alt=\"icon_pfeil\" src=\"https:\/\/www.austrianopen.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/icon_pfeil.png\"> Usually, couples from more than 20 nations will start in Vienna-Schwechat. This gives another 50% will be added to the base points.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 16px; height: 16px;\" alt=\"icon_pfeil\" src=\"https:\/\/www.austrianopen.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/icon_pfeil.png\"> This year again, as in previous years, at least 6 couples from the first 24 of the WDSF world ranking list will enter, therefore, an additional 25% will be added to the base Points.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 16px; height: 16px;\" alt=\"icon_pfeil\" src=\"https:\/\/www.austrianopen.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/icon_pfeil.png\"> This year all competitions in all age groups are WDSF World Ranking Competitions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please be aware that many WDSF world ranking points may be given.
