﻿{"id":111,"date":"2016-06-14T11:39:10","date_gmt":"2016-06-14T09:39:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.austrianopen.at\/en\/?page_id=111"},"modified":"2021-08-13T23:02:29","modified_gmt":"2021-08-13T21:02:29","slug":"viennese-waltz-championships-rules","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.austrianopen.at\/en\/viennese-waltz\/viennese-waltz-championships-rules\/","title":{"rendered":"VIENNESE-WALTZ-CHAMPIONSHIPS RULES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Viennese Waltz Championship is organized according to the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) and the Austrian DanceSport Federation (\u00d6TSV) competition rules:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adjudicators<\/strong><br \/>Up to 13 adjudicators with international licences<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dress Code<\/strong><br \/>Regular street wear is mandatory in rounds 1 to 3, competition dresses are allowed as of round 4, but are neither necessary nor mandatory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Equality\/Same-sex Couples<br \/><\/strong>From 2017 onwards same Equality\/same-sex couples are also welcome to join the competition. For organizational reasons, please enter as &#8220;man&#8221; and &#8220;lady&#8221; at our portal, the partner who will enter as &#8220;man&#8221; will take the number card.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Music<\/strong><br \/>Viennese Waltz compact disc music, 60 bpm, 2 minutes per Dance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Star couples <\/strong>(subject to change depending on amount of entered couples)<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10\" style=\"width: 16px; height: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.austrianopen.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/icon_pfeil.png\" alt=\"icon_pfeil\" \/> Couples who have reached the final of the Viennese Waltz Championship in 2019 are exempt from dancing the first five rounds (*****).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10\" style=\"width: 16px; height: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.austrianopen.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/icon_pfeil.png\" alt=\"icon_pfeil\" \/> Couples who have reached the semi-final of the Viennese Waltz Championship in 2019 are exempt from dancing the first four rounds (****).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10\" src=\"https:\/\/www.austrianopen.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/icon_pfeil.png\" alt=\"icon_pfeil\" width=\"17\" height=\"17\" \/> Couples who dance also the WDSF Open Senior II or WDSF Open Senior III Standard Competition or the Youth Open Standard competition on the same day are exempted from dancing the first three rounds (***).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10\" style=\"width: 16px; height: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.austrianopen.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/icon_pfeil.png\" alt=\"icon_pfeil\" \/> All other couples will have to start in the first round.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Judging criteria<\/strong><br \/>According to the Austrian DanceSport Federation (\u00d6TSV) competition rules.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Viennese Waltz Championship is organized according to the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) and the Austrian DanceSport Federation (\u00d6TSV) competition rules: AdjudicatorsUp to 13 adjudicators with international licences Dress CodeRegular street wear is mandatory in rounds 1 to 3, competition dresses are allowed as of round 4, but are neither necessary nor mandatory.
